Firefox for your phone!!
Mozzila, the makers of the hugely popular Firefox and Thunderbird have released Firefox for your Phone. This browser called “Fennec” is at this point only availible for the Nokia 800 and 810. This will surely create competition with the Safari Browser for the Iphone the Google Browser that is soon to come out for their Android phone and others. From the pictures I’ve seen so far this browser look amazing.

Top 10 portable applications
So I’m a big fan of portable applications and software and I just thought I’d share my top ten applications. (A portable application is an app that you put on your usb drive and when you eject the drive will leave no traces on the computer) One of the advantages of portable apps is that you can download them without being administrator.
1. Firefox Portable I had to put this on the list. It is an open source browser for those of you that don’t know that has been proven to be the best and fastest browser ever!
2.Pidgin Portable Pidgin is a instant messaging app. It allows you to chat with people on AOL, Yahoo, MSN on one small application.
3. VLC Portable VLC Portable is yet another product out of the Portable Apps.com factory. It is a media player that plays all the popular movie formats. Including AVI, a very popular format that Windows Media Player doesn’t support.
4. VirtualDub Portable VirtualDub is quite simply a video editing and capturing application. It is a very powerful video editor that is very simple and easy to use.
5. 7-zip Portable 7 zip is a file archiver that works with 7z, ZIP, GZIP, BZIP2, TAR, RAR,ISO files and more.
6. ClamWin Portable ClamWin is a virus scanner. If the computer that you’re working on is unusually slow use ClamWin to see if it has any virus’.
7. Thunderbird, Portable Edition Thunderbird is an e-mail client. For all of you Outlook users ditch that old school thing immediately! Thunderbird has a very clean design and is very fast!
8. Audacity Portable Audacity is an extremely easy to use audio editor and recorder.
9.PStart Pstart is an application launcher. It’s great because you can easily add and take away apps from the menu. (Note: When installing choose Portable Setup)
10. KeePass Password Safe Portable If you’re the kind of guy that always forgets your passwords then this is for you. KeePass stores all of your passwords in a secure database.
